Your kindness and generosity will be noted in the program at the dinner, on this website as well as in our annual Minnesota 100 Club Roster.
Your support of this tournament goes a long way in helping us to carry out our mission. To find out more about the Minnesota 100 Club and how you can become more involved please check out our website at www.Minnesota100Club.com.
Formed in 1972, the Minnesota 100 Club is an organization established for the sole purpose of rendering economic assistance to personnel and families of law enforcement, firefighting, or other public safety servants who are killed or disabled while engaging in public service and in the employ of any Federal agency within the State of Minnesota, or any political subdivision thereof.
The dangers of public service duties are increasing each year and with this increase, the need for a program such as the Minnesota 100 Club also increases. This requires additional membership and support for this worthy cause.
The Minnesota 100 Club attempts only to provide modest relief and hope to those in need at a time when there is little else to hold on to. The club recently increased their donation allotment to $7,000.00. Monetary gifts are also given to families with dependent children for two years.
The organization receives no public funding. All donations come from private individuals, businesses, and organizations. Yearly individual memberships remain as a $100.00 donation, although over the past few years we have added a few other options/perks for those who can give more. Since inception, the Club has paid out nearly $500,000.00 in benefits.
The Club sponsors The Minnesota 100 Club Fire & Law Enforcement Dinner and a Golf Tournament as a way to promote membership, gain exposure, and thank our active members for their continued support. Please join us each year in April at Jax Café in historic NE Minneapolis for our annual Dinner/Fundraiser and then again on Thursday, September 15th for our annual Golf Tournament to be held at Columbia Golf Course in Minneapolis.
If you are interested in joining the Minnesota 100 Club and wish to help “Protect the Protectors” you can contact Heidi Zaworski at 612-408-0242 or by email at MN100Club@aol.com or you can download an application from our website at www.minnesota100club.com.
This is truly a tremendous organization and a worthwhile cause!
